Press Release: Uncle Ato, NPP’s Assin Central Communication Officer Must Stop the Fraudulent Behavior
We write to express our utter dismay at Uncle Ato, the NPP communication officer for Assin Central for stooping to the lowest level any human being could go by claiming to be an NDC sympathizer on Asempa FM’s afternoon program yesterday.
Uncle Ato has marred his personality with certain allegations he has refused to clear, including that he used someone’s certificate to secure employment with GES, among others. While we can’t be concerned much about how and why he has flatly refused to come clean on such allegations, it is important for us to make it clear that the NDC has a tradition of patience and tolerance for official channels of party harmony, and that we won’t allow him to come and muddy our processes for us, knowing how lives have been lost in the hands of his party people over similar occurrences in the past.
It is very important again to call Ato Paul out for clearly demonstrating that he is a mischievous and untrustworthy character on the air waves in our constituency. This feeds into the perception that party communicators are liars and of rascally disposition.
While an apology is the least we can ask from him, we want to call on the chiefs, opinion leaders and Media Owners to help save the integrity on the air waves by ostracizing this unscrupulous character from the fray.
Politics must be seen as a tool for progress and unity, not as the dungeon of ruffians and fraudsters.
May the development of our communities and the welfare of our people continue to be the reason we engage each other.
God bless the Assin People!
God bless Ghana!!
